Jennifer Lopez receives Amnesty Award

Jennifer Lopez is going to receive the Artist for Amnesty award at the Berlin Film Festival for producing and starring in the movie “Bordertown”, a film that examines the murders of hundreds of women in a Mexican town.

The singer will receive her award on February 14, 2007 from Nobel Peace Prize winner Jose Ramos-Horta. Jennifer: “I began working to ensure we made this film in order to bring the attention of the world to this tragedy and to pressure the Mexican government to bring to justice those responsible for these horrible crimes.” Pictures show Jennifer and Marc Anthony at the Super Bowl XLI Party in South Beach.
