Madonna: Rocks at the UK Live Earth Concert!
Madonna, the queen of pop was the climax of a spectacular day, which featured great performances including Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, the Black Eyed Peas and the Pussycat Dolls, who all played for free to raise awareness of global warming in London.
Madonna, the 48 year old pop figure dressed in a black spandex outfit, started off with the song’ Hey You’, which should raise awareness of people changing their lifestyle to save the world.
Rocking on stage, Madonna stormed through her hits including La Isla Bonita, Ray of Light and closed with the song Hung Up in front of 80.000 fans in a sold-out Wembley stadium.
Her performance was just part of the marathon 22-hour event, which featured concerts in nine cities on six continents, including Sydney, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Hamburg.
