The Oscars 2007
The 79th Annual Academy Awards was hosted for the first time by comedian Ellen DeGeneres at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. One of Ellens’great moments: “If it weren’t for blacks, Jews and gays, there would be no Oscars. And nobody named Oscar, for that matter.”
The Drama “The Departed has won four Oscars, including best film and best director for Martin Scorses. Helen Mirren and Forest Whitaker collected best actress and actor. Below is the list of all winners, and the Oscar goes to:
